MyPhoneExpress Review

MyPhoneExpress falls under the list of Cell Phone Downloads sites where you get all kinds of stuff to use to customize your cell phone. You can have new themes, new videos, and even download your old favorite TV shows just by downloading them off the website. MyPhoneExpress prides itself in having downloads that are compatible for all common operating systems, having over a million files and media to choose from, and is safe and secured from spyware and all kinds of viruses that you can think of. I wasn’t so sure about this at first when I first visited the homepage of the site, so I decided to give it a background check and see what benefits customers can get with MyPhoneExpress .

MyPhoneExpress

The site has actually been rated #1 in notable websites like CNN.com, America Online, and CNET Download.com as a Cell Phone Downloads site. It’s got 500x faster downloading speed, really enormous databases to hold all of the downloads, and members can even get a TV on PC package. You can finally watch live television in your computer with this type of software, and all customers have to do is sign up as a member.

The price for one time payment and lifetime access to all downloads for a slashed price of $49.95, which I think is reasonable enough considering the fact that Cell Phone Downloads nowadays don’t come cheap anymore. Overall, I think MyPhoneExpress is a good site to invest your money in for all the cell phone games, themes, and ringtones you can imagine.

Samsung Armani Run with Windows Mobile 6.5

Samsung is working on a new Armani Windows Mobile phone and according to Samsung Taiwan’s mobile marketing department director Ryu Jae-hyun, the new Samsung Armani phone will come with the latest Windows Mobile OS. Yes, that’s right folks, the new Armani phone will run on Windows Mobile 6.5 and it will probably arrive sometime in Q3. No news on features and pricing yet, but there’s plenty of time for Samsung to reveal them.

Well, it would be interesting to see what Armani and Samsung will be able to make of WM 6.5. But I don’t really have any big expectations here.

Acer unveils M900

If you thought Acer had it topped with their notebooks, think again, as their new Tempo line of cell phones look built to give HTC’s Touch series a good old run for its money.  As promised, Acer has announced its new Tempo range consisting of four loaded Windows Mobile devices and a bevy of other features that are slowly becoming ubiquitous.

The jewel of the crown of course is the the Acer Tempo M900, which makes no pretense at which upcoming handset it is competing with.  With an expansive 3.8 inch WVGA touchscreen display, the M900 sports HSDPA support, GPS, WiFi, Flashlite support, FM radio, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, all running on WM 6.1 Profession with a 5-megapixel camera to boot.  No details on its storage capacity are available, although some kind of expansion is suggested, with our bets mostly on microSD.  The M900 has also voice command and recording functions helping us go easy on the finger tapping.

There are no information on the price or availability but a guess like the second quarter of 2009 wouldn’t be too far off.
