Nokia N900 constant reboot restart problems

I was lucky enough to receive my unlocked Nokia N900 without any problems but it seems some people are receiving defective units. Problems like microphone not working, Bluetooth, Radio problems and more commonly, random or constant reboots or N900s always restarting, some call this problem a reboot/restart cycle or loop.
