O2 subscribers who’re feeling left out that the HTC Desire is available on Vodafone and T-Mobile can now rejoice because O2 posted on their blog that the HTC Desire is expected to come to the network mid-May although someone mentioned that it’s around May 10. Anyways, you can get the HTC Desire for free with a £35 a month contract and you can get 600 minutse, unlimited text and unlimited data.

From what I’ve heard, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 can be bought with a mobile phone contract from almost all major wireless carriers and expected date of arrival is around the 1st of April. There seems to be a conflict on whether or not the HTC Desire will ship by the 1st of April. T-Mobile, who has already offered the HTC Desire on mobile contract on their website, says that there is no delay and they in fact, have already shipped some of the handsets.

Vodafone customers rejoice! Vodafone has just put up the pre-order page of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10, following T-Mobile who has just listed the Xperia X10 as available on a T-Mobile contract a few days ago. Of course, of course you have to wait 10 days till T-Mobile actually ships your X10 but at least Vodafone is not getting your hopes up.
